Hilary Duff Gets Booked

Hilary Duff is following in the footsteps of Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson -- no, not that -- she just signed a book deal!


According to the publisher, the Duffster will write a fiction series for young readers -- and the first book, "Elixir," is due out in October.

There are also plans for Hil to pen a non-fiction book that deals with divorce -- an issue the former "Disney" star faced during her parents' recent separation.

Congratulations goes out to Hilary Duff for everything she has accomplished in her life, and especially on her recent engagement to Mike Comrie.
