Jason Wahler is 'Ashamed of Everything'

"Laguna Beach" bad boy Jason Wahler is finally talking about his arrest last weekend and recent Mexican detainment -- saying "I'm am very, very ashamed of everything ... I am very sorry for everything that's happened."

As we previously reported, Wahler was busted for DUI last Friday stateside ... and in Mexico earlier this month following a bar fight.

He tells Us Magazine "I never want to drink again ... God did that to me, so maybe I would be at [rock] bottom and want to climb my way to the top."

He says his family is trying to get him back on track and adds he started AA again on Wednesday.
