One is a star, the other is the parent of a star. There is a reason why Taylor is a star and his Dad isn't. Most stars look better than their parents and keep in shape for their jobs. So nice of you to pick on this kid's Dad because he doesn't look like the fake Hollywood parents. Taylor's Dad is a normal American male.

They are saying he is going to grow up looking like his dad. Ok why does that matter. Yes he is a great looking young man but I like Taylor for the things that he does and the way he acts. Not as an actor (I like his acting too) but as the person he seems to be. When he is 30 years older if he looks like his dad I am still going to think the same way about him then as I do know.

A true american family. I think Taylor's parents did a great job raising him. He is very nice, I can't see him doing drugs (which is my favorite thing about him), he is not stuck on himself and telling everyone he is the best. He is living what some people (my self included) would say is the American dream. I see him and his dad in a lot of pictures together. They seem close and I think that is great. Congrats Taylor on every thing you have done in your life. You have so many great years ahead of you. I look forward to following you in all your movies. Your acting in Sharkboy and Lavagirl was great. Another kid couldn't have even came close. You are doing so well.

If Taylor looks like his father Dan in 25 years but still emanates the same warm, bright and kind spirit he does today, then I will still be admiring Taylor for not only his manay talents but for being a great example of a decent human being. Taylor's parents have done a fine job of raising their son with humility and ethics, something not very common anymore, and that is what I see when I look at pictures of them. Great people, a great family, and a bright future ahead of their son. I'm sold.

hey hey no picking on daddy lautner whats wrong with him he is a respectable man i believe he used to be a pilot or still is and he flew taylor everywhere and that is true commitment on daddy lautners part!! he has raised a great son and should be proud and taylor should be honoured to have a dad like him

Taylor is definitely being "handled" to death and is sooo rehearsed, but he is seriously HOT! And he has a vibe about him that does set him apart from others, to me at least. He's got people all around him telling him what to do and how to behave and they are making him into a huge star. He is just a kid, really. Despite all that, I think he's a decent guy, actually.

That is what is wrong with us we are so hung up on what is PERFECT, but is what people have stereotyped as perfect really perfect. I think Taylor is absolutely drop dead gorgeous, but its not just his looks its his demeanor while acting. I'd love to meet him in person to see if he is really a down-to-earth person. I could be his mother (I'm so ashamed), but GEESH. I'd love to thank daddy Lautner for blessing us with Taylor.
