New 'Batman' Flick -- Release Date Set

Warner Brothers just announced the release date for the untitled "Batman 3" project -- but don't get too excited ... the movie ain't coming out for another two years.


According to The Hollywood Reporter, the next installment of the new Batman saga will hit theaters on July 20, 2012.

No details yet on the project -- but we do know the same writer and director for "The Dark Knight" are still attached.
