I'm Roman Catholic but to me that doesn't mean I uncritically have to swallow nor live my life by everything the Bible and/or the Pope tells me.
Times have changed, and in some aspects I change with them.

It's very obvious, to me anyway,that people who are gay are born that way, it's nót a disease they caught somewhere in life.

I think it's so easy to judge gay people if you aren't gay yourself - but how would you react if it was yóu who was desperately in love with someone of your own sexe?

Didn't God say somewhere : "Love thy neighbour like thouself", or something to that extend? (I'm Dutch, don't know the exact text in English, sorry)

And didn't he also say something like "He who is without sin throws the first stone"?

Hey, I'm single, I still haven't met the man for mé yet and maybe, given the fact I'm 58, I never will.
The Bible says we're on earth to marry and have children (or something to that extend), should I feel guilty towards Him for not following his Word??

Well, I don't, I think God is perfectly okay with the way I and many other people live - if there IS a God he'll understand the changes that came with time.

So Jane and Lara, congratulations on your marriage, hope you'll have a good life together.

Excellent! I've already recommended the Harlingford Hotel to colleagues who struggle to find clean, fresh and pleasant accommodation in the centre of London. The staff were excellent and attentive without being over bearing...all in all a lovely experience and incredibly good value for money. I would highly recommend.
