Simon's Possible 'Idol' Replacement -- Chris Isaak

0721_isaak The hunt is on for Simon Cowell's replacement on "American Idol" -- and musician Chris Isaak could be leading the pack.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chris has already met with Fox twice as a potential candidate for the job -- and it's looking more and more likely that he could be taking the coveted hot seat this fall for Season 10.

It's not a done deal though, Harry Connick Jr. is also in the running ... and Fox could still have some tricks up its sleeves.

John Barrowman (Captain Jack - Dr. Who, Torchwood) best to be the replacement. Has experience judging BBC/Andrew Lloyd Webber talent shows. Plus I'd love to see that face every week!
