You know when I got this SHAPE I was surprised because I thought the readers wouldn't like it. As for me I didn't mind it stars are horrible sometimes and yes she did something regretful, but she is human. What about stars that never get caught for infidelity I don't see anyone terribly upset with any of the Rock Stars that get put on covers who have cheated. Seriously? Are we really going to put this double standard on ourselves? As women I'm a little ashamed that we do this and feed into the double standards that control the country. For everyone who complained you must keep yourself on a high pedestal. I'm not complaining I've never done drugs or cheated, but that's because guys cheat on me, but hell why should I sit around and bitch it happens get over it. It's not like she killed a kid and that's how you're all treating her and why because Eddie's fam whore wife can't keep her trap shut. Honestly I haven't heard Eddie or Leann publicly say anything bad about this woman, but it's been years now and she still cries foul. Get stronger and get over it don't punish yourself move on they have and even LeAnn's ex has more class than that whole lot, but still seriously get over it. By the way I can't wait till Tiger get's his game back and get's on covers of Men's Health I bet you wont hear backlash like this with him.

Im really sick of the self rightous of this world thinking that they have the right to judge anyone. Amy Grant, Gospel singer, Marries Vince Gill after years of them cheating on their spouses. Trisha Yearwood marries Garth Brooks after years of them cheating on their spouses as well and its all peachy? What makes those women any different from LeAnn? Being a celeb doesnt give anyone the right to judge your unperfect life. Hey Shape? Way to go on a great cover and story.

It really wasn't necessary to give an apology as the article is was it is...she is still a pretty girl, obviously in Shape and one who uses working out to better herself-which is what the mag is all about. The publication should have just realized that many of its readers still have a bad taste in their mouths with regards to LeAnn, and "How working out saved me" paints her as a victim when really she was teh cause of her own downfall. If you ostrasized everyone in hollywood whose ever cheated or been in scandal, there would be few left to be any magazine cover. This is a reminder to many in the industry though that LeAnn is still on the outs with a good percentage of the general public

Leann and her people are doing some major damage control. First off all, when the article came out EVERYONE (this includes several media outlets and the public) that read it had a negative reaction to it. Why? Well they pointed out LR lack of remorse, the fact that Leann was acting like the victim, and how Leann kept putting out all of her business/disrespecting EC wife. To make matters worse, Leann is going to once again go off and play the victim when she does that interview with ABC in Nov. So seeing how people have not reacted to her Shape interview in a favorable manner, she should not be upset when people react the same way to her ABC interview. Secondly Leann gets backlash because she is always inappropriate. She is so bad that even her own fans have asked her to stop with the TMI. Leann is always playing the victim. Why does she keep tweeting about those kids after she has been asked to stop? Halloween is coming up, and we can probably predict how many "happy family" photos she is going to send to DailyMail and JustJared. Leann is always talking about bullying, yet she she patted her producer on the back when he verbally abused BG. People don't like Leann and it's only going to get worse the more she tweets and tip off the paps. I am not surprised that the editor backtracked, Leann's album is delayed and she is trying to release a second single(because the first one flopped). I find it quite interesting that the Valerie's statement matches Leann's "there are only a handful people of people who dislike me and people are spinning/twisting my words" card . Leann and her pr people are posting on this site because since this article as hit the net, these "supporters" are crawling out of the woodwork. How odd, now where were these supporters for LR when her single needed to get into the top 20s?

it takes two to tango. they're both at fault, but a guy would not even consider adultery if the other woman says no. She may have said sorry, but she still is a homewrecker. Think of the kids. I know how the kids feel because my father left us for the other woman. I saw the effect it had on the entire family including the grandkids. I for one still wants to get my revenge on the woman. Im not a close minded person, but marriage is sacred. Cheating is still a mortal sin in every angle. You're probably thinking right now forgive, forget and move on. A person can only forgive, but she will never forget it will always be at the back of her mind, and the psychological and emotional effect on the kids in the future on what the parents did in the past. So think before you act.

These two fell in love. It happens. It has happened to me, when I was in the other shoe and it hurts! But such is life and constantly calling LeAnn a home wrecker is childish and immature. I hope all the people out there living in glass houses are prepared; once you point a finger, three more will point at you. Please let's not be so judgemental and let these two develope their relationship. If things had been happy in either one of their former homes, I am sure the chemistry mapping the journey for LeAnn and Eddie's new life would not have happened. Would it be better to have 4 unhappy people than two gloriously in love?

I have been brutally hurt many times but life is short, find happiness and take it. I don't think someone can be stolen unless the urge to slip away has already been a formation.

VALERY, you have nothing to apologize for! There will always be shallow, self important people that find theirselves above human interaction and have probably never really been in love theirselves. I am sure LeeAnn and Eddie did not make their choices without a lot of tears, guilt and heartache and again I say......

life is short. Find love and happiness!

I can't believe this editor has sent out an apology for having LeAnn on it's cover. I have just subscribed to this magazine since I like the fitness articles and the celebrities section. However, I may just write "Please cancel" and return the bill when it comes. This is ridiculous and I agree with the majority who think so too.

While I personally do not like Leanne Rimes or her music, I don't think that she alone should be blamed. Cibrian is just as guilty of cheating on his wife as she is cheating on her husband. And its Hollywood- they all cheat on their husbands and wives. Tori Spelling is one such example, in fact she is glorified on a reality TV show. People need to get over it.

lee ann has struggled with her weight since she was a teen and i think she looks wonderful. shape shouldnt be forced to apologize for advertising a shapely body transformation. you cant steal someones mate. if a couple is truly in love, no one can touch you, no matter how rocky the waters may be. " i know " it is sad that celeberties dont have privacy. God is our only judge. people grow apart, they take each other for granted or they never were in love.... all you people who are judging lee ann needs to look at their own reflections in the clouded mirror they look in each day. the press will ruin your life and feed the lonely lives of the gossip phironnas out there you know.... you go girl lee ann flaunt that body and be proud of it... you look beautiful.. i hope you are happy with your new life....

Well being one who is trying to rebuild a marriage after an affair, I can certainly say I would not want to see either of their faces posted everywhere I looked. She created her own most difficult personal time. Statistics will show that most relationships that come out of an affair don't last, let's see if God can ordain that for her. Time will tell all. No need for the magazine to apologize though, they have the right to put who they want on the cover and those who read it have the right to refuse to buy it.

There was no need for an apology. Let's not forget, this is a magazine about diet and exercise. You have no basis for claiming responsibility for the personal lives of celebrities featured on your cover.
LeAnn Rimes cheated on her spouse, but at least she's being honest about it. In Hollywood EVERY WEEK there's another couple that breaks up because of (alleged) infidelity. In that case, no celebrity would ever make it onto a magazine cover.
But really, is this the 19th century? Should we put a scarlet letter A as a badge of shame on LeAnn? No one's lives are perfect, who are we to judge?
This society is obsessed with the private life of celebrities when really, IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. We weren't there, we don't know what these marriages were like. She's a singer, we can like or dislike her music but her private life is just that. Leave the woman alone!
