Curly Community to Patti: Shut Up!
The curly haired community has got it in for "Millionaire Matchmaker" Patti Stanger -- for calling their follicles "scraggly, frizzy, bird’s nests."
Stanger has always said her wealthy clients don't like curly hair -- and beauty website NaturallyCurly is fighting back, telling her to "Shut up already,"
In a letter fired off to Patti's people, the website is demanding her to "stop curl bashing" and daring her to "rock" her "natural curls."
They add, "What would people say if you were asking women to change their skin color or eye color to attract a man? You appear to be living in a time warp where only one standard of beauty exists: the Barbie Doll."
Read the full letter here.
Though she's seen the letter, the "Matchmaker" has no plans to cool it on the anti-curl commentary, tweeting "Ok, naturally curly bunch. I like stylish curly/wavy hair, but my millionaire men don't. So, go buy a flat iron."
Check out the gallery below of celebs going from curly to straight, and let us know if Patti has a point -- do these ladies look better when they break out a flat iron?

I have curly hair and I straighten as well. It gives you versatility with your look. I wouldn't choose one over the other. Guys I've been with say I look great with either style. Love your hair no matter what it is. Even tho Patti is voicing the majority of opinion from her clients she should be sensitive to the audience. Thumbs down for lack of judgement.

NEW FLASH PATTI!!! Men want to wake up to the same woman they went to bed with not an imposter! If you hair is curly ( like mine!) then rock it if it's straight then own it! The point is be yourself! If you hope to have a relationship with the person your dating you may as well show your true colors they're gonna see them eventually anyway, so dont waste time with the games... and Patti if you spent less time on your hair and more on being a better person you might get lucky enough to find a match for yourself ( though I doubt it ;-P)! P.S My fiance LOVES my kinky curly big sexy outta this world hair!

Men have always loved my natual curly hair too. Patti is HIDEOUS and can't even find a man herself.. so I would NOT take advice from her. As for her message "go buy a flat iron".. how about you "go buy liposuction, a new face, and do something about that ear-piercing, eyeball-clawing voice"? Oh and if a guy is only picking a girl based on her hair... he's not worth a damn anyways and he should probably just hook up you. She sucks.. point blank.

I am a fan of Bravo TV, I watch all their shows, all The Real Housewives, Top Chef, Project Runway, etc. I watched The Millionaire Matchmaker 2 times and have never watched again. The shows are about this ugly, rude, ill-mannered woman trying to find love for other ugly, rude, ill-mannered people. She is advising people on looks! She needs A LOT OF HELP with her looks, to me she looks like a man impersonating a woman. Bravo TV- you screwed up with this one.

Men definitely prefer curls in NYC. I recently attended an http://www.OnSpeedDating.Com Curls Gone Wild Speed Dating event where men registered and paid to meet curly women like me.
