Beyonce Gives Birth to Baby Girl Blue Ivy

Baby Bey-Z has finally arrived – Beyonce and Jay-Z are the proud parents of a baby girl, E! Online and several news outlets report!

Reports say little Blue Ivy Carter was delivered at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City on Saturday.

It comes as no surprise that Beyonce gave birth to a girl – Bey’s BFF and former Destiny’s Child partner Kelly Rowland let some female pronouns slip during an interview in early November. With enthusiasm like that, we are sure Auntie Kelly will spoil little Ivy Blue rotten.

Jay-Z's protege Rihanna seemed to confirm the news, tweeting, "Welcome to the world Princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih!"

Music and fashion mogul Russell Simmons also shared his well-wishes, posting, "Congrats to my good friend Beyonce and Jay-Z."

Ivy Blue is the first child for the power couple, who have been married since April of 2008.

CONGRATULATIONS BEY and JAY Z !! Yesterday, babygirl's name was reported as, "IVY BLUE" Carter. They must have been told, Cher and Leon Russell's son's name is ELIJAH BLUE. Sounds a lot like IVY BLUE, so they reversed babygirl's name today.
