FIRST LOOK: 'X-Men: First Class' Trailer Debut!

The first footage from "X-Men: First Class" is finally here!

X Men First Class Trailer
A trailer for the highly anticipated prequel was released just moments ago via the movie's Facebook page -- and it's pretty impressive.

Replacing original stars like Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellan as Magneto and Rebecca Romijn as Mystique are James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Oscar nom Jennifer Lawrence, respectively.

They're joined by January Jones as the sexy Emma Frost, Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw, Nicolas Hoult as Beast, Zoe Kravitz as Angel and "Damages" star Rose Byrne as Dr. Moira MacTaggert.

According to 20th Century Fox, the movie revolves around Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr before they took the names Professor X and Magneto. "Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to prevent nuclear Armageddon.  In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men."

The movie doesn't open until June 3 -- but to hold you over, new, "special content" will be posted on the flick's Facebook page as fans share the trailer. So go now and share away!

The character played by Rose Byrne is named Moira McTaggert, not Moira Taggert.

Franklin Richards is not Reed's brother. It's his son. If you're going to be glib at least be informed.

So why all the rest of us are wounder if Professor X will make a come back in the near future..Doubtful since its the new fad to go back in time rather than forward... So I will probably attend the movie..I can understand the comic books have loads of different time lines, and parallel universes(also accepting of it).. Toss the last nail in the coffin, get all you're hammers ready to nail it in. Because I do not have high hopes... Marvel word of advice: MOVE ON.
