VIDEO: Demi Lovato Explains New Wrist Tattoos!
Demi Lovato has two new tattoos -- and, according to her, she got inked for her fans!
"I wanted to show you something that I did recently in honor of my fans and their support," Lovato says in a new video message on Cambio, adding "the journey that I went through and the support of my fans was so meaningful for me, I wanted to thank my fans in a way that I know can never be forgotten."
As we previously reported, the tattoos read "Stay" and "Strong" -- and the latter has a little heart next to it.
Why the heart? According to Demi, it "Is something that my fans actually were drawing on their wrists while I was still in treatment and some people even got tattoos of it, so I wanted to show you guys that I will never forget the support that you guys gave me."
Lovato adds, "I will look at it everyday and remember you guys and be completely thankful for you."
Demi already has two other tattoos: A feather behind her ear and the words "You Make Me Beautiful’ from the song "Beautiful" by Bethany Dillon.

I am very saddened by her tattoos. Especially since they are so visable. I have 3 daughters whom really look up to her and watch her shows. Very disappointing.

se o corpo todo dela tive-se tatuagem mais se ela continua-se com maio ou menos 10% da beleza e do talento ja seria muito bom .

She is obviously very grateful. I don't see anything wrong with her tattoos. They every one of them obviously symbolizes something in her life. I personally have tattoos and each one symbolizes a period in my life that I wouldn't want to forget.

I agree with Jerry. They're to cover cut marks. Also it makes it harder for her to try again. It would leave more proof if she cut through those.

stay strong in the world of pro-ana(anorexia) and pro-mia(bulimia) is something girls with eating disorders say to each other on blogs and forums . and the song beautiful by bethany dillon even though it may be a christian song.. many girls with EDs(eating disorders) use that song as THINSPO aka thinspiration. she might not be as over it as people think.
ive have been battling bulimia and self mutilation. since I was 13years old. now that i'm 24 its even harder. and its something she'll live with forever.
I really do wish demi the best. its not hard living with those issues. it effects you everyday and I pray she can continue to be a good example for young girls and woman everywhere. she's brave for taking that step to recovery. I applaud your bravery demi.

Honestly I love her tatoos. She is doing somthing that means a lot to her. If it makes her happy then I am too :)

I can't believe that mom said she was disapointed that Demi got tatoos.Cutting is something people do out of desperation and its hard to stop because it can become the only source of comfort for some people.If those words will inspire her and keep her from self-harm, then I ADMIRE her for it.It's a brave thing--she's not ignoring the issue, she's confonting it for the sake of prevention. Besides, tatoos aren't morally WRONG, and it's NOT up to a celebrity to live their lives according to their fans.Should they be a role model? It'd be nice.But they're their own people.If u think she's innapropriate, don't let your kid watch her.Your five-year old isn't her responsibilty, nor should she be.

I think Demi Lovato has come a LONG way. If that tattoos help her from cutting hersel****ain then so be it! She's an inspiration. Demi's growing up. If you have a problem w/ your child watching her show b/c of them...THEN DON'T LET THEM WATCH!
