Now the husbands of the "Real Housewives" are getting in on the music biz -- as "Real Housewives of New York" star Alex McCord's hubby Simon van Kempen just released his first single.

With lyrics like "When wives attack behind my back, they trash me on the Twitter" and "I am who I am and that's the deal," his song "I Am Real" landed on iTunes today.
In a press release for the release, Simon says "More than anything, I wanted the track to be fun, irreverent and to talk about my real experience on the 'Real Housewives of New York City.' The title and lyrics are cheeky but hey, that's the REAL me!"
Van Kempen is the first househusband to release a song -- following in the footsteps of housewives Countess LuAnn, Danielle Staub and Kim Zolciak.
