Fashion's Biggest Night: The Met Costume Gala Red Carpet!

The most stylish stars turned out Monday night for the biggest fashion event of the year -- The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala.

The event -- sometimes dubbed the Oscars of Fashion -- honored fashion designer Alexander McQueen, who died last year. As part of the tribute, the museum is running a retrospective exhibit on McQueen entitled Savage Beauty.

There were some real head-turners on the red carpet for this year's event -- including Gisele Bundchen, who wore a stunning red McQueen gown, Jennifer Lopez in a fantastic fuchsia Gucci number and Beyonce Knowles in an Emilio Pucci dress so tight, she needed help walking up the stairs!

Other fashionable stars in attendance included Blake Lively, Sarah Jessica Parker, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, Kristen Stewart, pregnant Kate Hudson, Miranda Kerr, the Olsen twins, Gwyneth Paltrow and many many more!

Giselles dress is so BLAH and basic seen it a million times. I love Mcqueen but dont see Genius in this at all..... also i dont get the appeal of her... i mean shes a pretty girl but thats it... and Tom please for the love of god cut that nasty ass hair...
