Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Reveal Baby Names
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have finally revealed the names of their twins.
Their daughter, who was born first, is named Monroe Cannon. Monroe does not have a middle name because Mariah herself does not have one. The couple named her after Marilyn Monroe, whom Mariah has idolized her entire life.
Their son is named Moroccan Scott Cannon and will affectionately be called "Roc." Morocco was the site of Nick's marriage proposal. Scott is Nick's middle name and his grandmother's maiden name.
The twins were born April 30th in Los Angeles, which coincided with the couple's third wedding anniversary. To mark the occasion, Mariah and Nick renewed their vows in the hospital by Reverend Al Sharpton.
No photos of the twins have been released, but we can expect to see them soon.

I love the names!! Monroe Cannon is beautiful and as for the boy Moroccan love the name very sweet!!. You dont hear it often and its beautiful congrats to the Cannons!

She is so attention starving! Everybody knows it wasn't a coincidence that she gave birth on their 3rd wedding anniversary. Those babies were done by invitro and the labor was induced to coincide with the wedding date. Come on! People are always looking for attention. Now all attention is good attention. If they were truly humble, then all of this would have been done in private. Why get married twice? Especially at the hospital? She is so over the top and always do things in the haste of things just to be able to say "Mariah did that first!" By the way, the girl can sing though! lol

Having twins is a beautiful thing no matter what names are chosen! I have twins boy/girl and I couldnt be happier, they fill my life with joy! Congrats Mariah and Nick!!

Oh good lord people.....Just cause you have money does not exclude your kids from being picked on.....Monroe is ok but come on...Morocco? That kid is gonna get his butt beat not only cuz of his name but who his parents are.....yes she can sing but she is too selfish to be having kids.....Just like brad and angies kid zahara....these kids are going to be in rehab by 13...

Wow, i had to laugh - I am very happy for the couple, as I know how badly she wanted those babies - but those names are ridiculous, they're not even cool different... Im surprised their last name isn't Carey too as we all know who wears the pants (with heels of course) in that relationship!

I personally think what you name YOUR baby is YOUR business. It does not and should not matter what anyone thinks its YOUR baby and YOUR right to name as you choose. If you and Your Husband are satisfied! what does it matter what anyone thinks? Thats your Baby name em whatever you like and whatever you can spell!!! lol

Monroe is ok. Mariah is a Marilyn fan so it makes sense, I guess, but WTF is up with Moroccan??? That is not even a name! A Moroccan is someone from Morocco. It's like "I'm gonna name my kid European, or American or Spaniard. SMH. I bet **** came up with the name.
