Royal Ascot Day 3 - More Mad Hatters

Thursday was Day 3 at the Royal Ascot in London. The rain didn't dampen the festive mood, with attendees wearing some of the most outrageous hats yet.

Actress Elizabeth Hurley and members of the royal family, including Princess Beatrice (who's toilet seat hat caused a furor at the Royal Wedding) also wore some terrific toppers. One group of friends were decked out in a menagerie of bird hats. Check out all the photos below:

No we shouldn't. And this looks like one boring event. Just about everyone in these pictures from the queen on down is ugly.
