It was one of the best performances of the night, but Caitlynn Lawson and Mitchell Kelly's contemporary dance on "So You Think You Can Dance" had one of them bleeding afterward!
The two performed to a Stacey Tookey number to Adele's "Turning Tables," revolving around a woman trying to escape an abusive relationship -- and apparently really got into it, as Caitlynn somehow got punched in the face during the dance.
"Mitchell accidentally punched me, it's okay," Caitlynn said after the performance, as she dabbed blood off of her nose.
Backstage, Mitchell told E! "It wasn't a punch. When she jabbed me to fight me, I grabbed her wrist and I made her punch herself with her own hand. We were so in character we didn't even care because we were very vulnerable. Doing that type of number, it wasn't fancy, but very emotional and that character shows you are a real dancer and an actor."
