Demi Lovato is back with a brand new single -- her first since leaving a treatment facility for cutting, an eating disorder and depression.
The song, "Skyscraper," was released last night on iTunes and has already jumped to #3 on the singles chart. Listen below:
With lyrics like "Would it make you feel better to watch me while I bleed ... I will be rising from the ground, like a skyscraper, like a skyscraper," the song is definitely one of empowerment -- and alludes to her painful past.
Of recording the song, Lovato tells Seventeen "Recording this song was such an amazing experience for me. It was such an incredible and emotional process ... My biggest wish for this song is that it's able to inspire others and urge them to keep moving forward no matter what the odds."
