Kate Hudson & Matt Bellamy Name Newborn Son Bingham
We've got another interesting celeb baby name for you: Bingham Hawn Bellamy.
Kate Hudson's baby daddy Matt Bellamy just released the name of his newborn son on Twitter, saying "So happy! Just had a baby boy, Bingham "Bing" Hawn Bellamy. Born 7Ib 12Oz, on 9th July."
He adds "Mum and baby are strong and healthy. Mum was a warrior, Bing popped out after 4.5 hours of intense pushing!"
So why "Bingham?" Matt explains: "Bingham is my mum's maiden name and Bing Russell was Kurt's dad. Family connections all round!"
The boy's middle name, Hawn, is clearly a reference to Kate's mother, Goldie Hawn.
Bingham joins Kate's other son with Chris Robinson, Ryder.

Matt later tweeted that "Bingham" is his mother's maiden name and "Bing" is Kurt Russel's father's first name, So this isn't some "whacky" Hollywood name, it actually has a meaning behind it.

Hey, Some countries use the mother's maiden name for the middle name, my father in law's middle name is Yawarski lol. And at least it is better than Jason Lee, didn't he name his kid Inspektor Pilot (his spelling not mine)

It's uncommon but I think it's great because it has such strong family ties behind it. Much better than another Jayden or Brayden or Caden or Hayden or Aidan.

i think its great!! so many people want different names these days and to still have meaning behind it is wonderful. a new trend is last names as first names. my son is the same.. his name is his grandfathers last name =)
