Duchess Kate Recycles Her Dress

She may be a royal, but Catherine isn't above wearing the same dress twice.

On Friday, the Duchess of Cambridge attended the pre-wedding party for Zara Phillips, the Queen's granddaughter, wearing the same green Diane Von Furstenberg dress she wore three weeks before at a reception in California (see the side-by-side photos below).

With its fresh color, half-sleeves and bowed belt, the dress is perfect for a summer party. Of course, her husband Prince William wore his go-to outfit -- navy suit and burgundy tie.

Good for her. I have never understood WHY stars can't wear things more than once. It's stupid. She is being simple & not snooty. I love it.

I think its perfectly fine and whoever thinks otherwise would be acting extremely snobish. There is nothing wrong with wearing a dress over again..especially if its a simple and comfy..

it's fine - most of us would wear something again in a few weeks after a wash/dry clean. nothing wrong with being practical - it just shows how average and normal she really is. good for her

I hope she stays as she is.. All of this negative publicity... Give me a break.. Is she to just get rid of her outfits because she wore them 1 time? Just because you have a lot of money and get all of this attention, doesn't mean you are shallow and a snob..

I think it's unbecoming for a person in her
category.
Other people are not photographed in the same clothes Kate is, and why did she not purchase something new for Zaras wedding, was the wedding not important enough ?
Kate can recycle her clothes when she is not photographed or going to important functions.
For family wedding Kate has bad taste.
She should have had something new.
