Bradley Cooper is new Sexiest Man Alive ... at least according to People Magazine.

The mag gave the 36-year-old "Hangover 2" star their top honor this year, following in the hot footsteps of last year's winner, Ryan Reynolds.

With his good looks, beyond sexy French-speaking abilities and a quick romance with Jennifer Lopez, it's pretty easy to see why he was picked ... and listen up, he's on the market!

He describes himself as a "single 36-year-old male" in the article, adding "I don't see myself as a ladies' man." See more when the issue hits newsstands Friday.
