Robin Gibb is starting to feel a whole lot better following a recent hospitalization for abdominal pain.
"I have been very unwell and am now on the road to recovery," the singer says on his website. "Your prayers and wishes are a great tonic to me."
"I wish to thank my family, friends and fans and the many thousands of people who do not know me but have enjoyed Bee Gees music and have wished me well," he adds.
Gibb has not revealed the nature of his illness -- but he is reportedly suffering from liver cancer. His twin brother, Maurice, died in 2003 from intestinal complications.
