In Memoriam: Those We Lost In 2011
This year we lost many famous faces who entertained, informed and changed us. Many left behind extensive bodies of work, while others were simply taken too soon.
From Academy Award winner, entrepreneur and AIDS activist Dame Elizabeth Taylor, to the immensely talented Amy Winehouse whose demons sadly caught up with her, to Steve Jobs, whose inventions have forever changed the way we live our daily lives, the losses of the year hit far and wide across the Hollywood community.

the ones I Miss the most are Dame Elizabeth Taylor Sidney Lumet and Gilbert Cates. Lumet directed/produced films like Dog Day Afternoon & The Verdict while Cates directed/produced films like Summer Wishes Winter Dreams the star of which outlived him by 4 years correct the star of that film was Joanne Woodward who had already been nominated for two oscars atthat point
