Rachel McAdams Describes Three-Year McDonald's Past

0103_mcadams_launch
Rachel McAdams may make a stunning cover girl for Glamour magazine next month -- but her life wasn't always so glamorous.

The 33-year-old Canadian actress describes her past working at McDonald's in the mag's February issue.

"Yeah, for a good three years. My sister and brother worked there. My sister was my manager," says Rachel.

"It was a great place to work, but I had a little bit of an OCD thing with hand washing and just didn't have time. They were like, "Hey, the drive-through's backing up. Stop washing your hands," she continues. "I was not a great employee; I broke the orange juice machine one day."

McAdams is only one of many celebs who have worked at the Golden Arches though -- check out the gallery above to see who else used to get fast food paychecks, plus other embarrassing first jobs!

Oh please... the little twit is from Toronto where there are tons of McD's... not a surprise she worked there during college. She's been talking about working in McD's for YEARS now since the Notebook was released. TMZ, get with the program. Pretty late in the game. SMH.

Hey Truth...you're a nitwit. She and her family are from St. Thomas, Ontario (and still reside there) and there is only 1 McDonald's. She went to school in Toronto and did not say she worked there during college. Do your research before commenting please.

I love how the title reads 'embarassing jobs'. I'm not sure why working at a fast food chain would be considered shameful. Selling drugs or your body would be embarassing. Perhaps that is why so many people are on welfare. A regular job isn't good enough.

Troof- You are not @ TMZ. Also, working @ McDonalds in Canada is like working @GM in the US.
