Michelle Obama has often been praised for her super toned arms ... now we know how she gets them!
The First Lady visited "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" where she accepted a push-up challenge from the talk show host. Jackets were shed and the two women hit the stage. Watch what happens below:
Michelle bested Ellen by five push-ups and wasn't even out of breath by the end. To be fair, Michelle is six years younger than Ellen. It was definitely an impressive showing by both! The First Lady has been on a tour promoting healthy eating, and she's living proof!

Actually, speaking as a former Drill Sergeant/Instructor for the United States Army, both women were performing the pushup correctly. When doing a pushup, your feet may be close together or up to 12 inches apart. Also, when performing a pushup your body should form a straight line from shoulders to ankles. A correct pushup is done by lowering the entire body, as a single unit, until your upper arms are at least parallel to the ground. Then, return to the starting position by raising the entire body until your arms are fully extended. How far a person "dips close to the ground" is not measured when evaluating a pushup.
@seriously? I've always been told from my football coaches, a proper push up is your feet together, back straight and have your chin touch the ground to execute a correct push up. This is television. I'm not sure how the "army" handles push up protocol. so meh.
