We've barely seen Adele since she underwent throat surgery last year, let alone heard her talk -- but today, the wait is over!
In a promo clip from Sunday night's "60 Minutes," the singing sensation talks to Anderson Cooper about the operation and how hard it was to not speak for most of November and December.
"I had laser surgery," the 23-year-old says. "They put a laser down your throat, cut off the polyp and kind of laser your hemorrhage back together and fix it."
She was under doctor's orders to keep quiet for two months following the surgery.
"It was really hard, I love talking," Adele admits ... but she found a way around it.
"I had a notepad and I also had an application on my phone that you type the words in and it speaks it," she explains. "The great thing is, because I love to swear, I found this one app where you can swear so I'm still really getting my point across!"
The full interview airs Sunday night on CBS -- the same night we'll hear her sing for the first time since the surgery on the Grammy Awards.
Be sure to come back Sunday to see all the Grammy red carpet highlights, plus video of Adele's performance!
