There are a lot of differences between celebs and us regular folk. Sure, there's the money, the fame, the houses and cars, the trademarking your baby's name ... Yes, that's right, at least for the most powerful couple in music.
Beyonce and Jay-Z have reportedly filed papers with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to protect baby Blue Ivy's name, according to the Washington Post. The tot's name has been a hot commodity -- there were fake Twitter accounts set up for her before she was even born, and apparently two other applications for the trademark on her name were already filed prior to Bey and Jay submitting their request.
While it makes sense that the proud parents may just want to protect their little girl's name from being used by others for profit, sources claim that the power couple wants to reserve it for use on a future line of baby products. What would Suri Cruise think?
