Britney Spears Almost Takes a Tumble at "X Factor" Auditions

Britney Spears' heels almost got the best of her today in Kansas City, Missouri!

The singer looked great in a white mini-dress when she showed up for "X Factor" auditions moments ago -- but had a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment of panic when her ankles got a little wobbly in her shoes.

Luckily, she didn't fall and recovered gracefully before greeting and signing autographs for fans.

Demi Lovato and L.A. Reid were also on hand for today's round of auditions, but one judge was noticeable absent: Simon Cowell.

He's sitting this one out due to a bout with bronchitis.
