This should come as no surprise ... Lindsay Lohan's turn as Elizabeth Taylor has been panned by the critics, notably The Hollywood Reporter's Tim Goodman.
Lifetime is banking on Lilo's notoreity, touting "Liz & Dick" as her comeback and a "television event."
Whether or not you decide to tune in on November 25th, you have to check out highlight's from Goodman's scathing review (where he called the TV movie "spectacularly bad"), paired with stills from the "television event:"
"Hair and makeup miracles do not a movie make"
"Drinking games were made for movies like this."
"The talking part doesn't turn out so well for Lohan. There is not one moment of the film she's believable."
"It's like a high school play."
"Luckily, you can't take your eyes off Lohan playing Taylor, which the producers clearly thought would work because they share similar backstories. Except for the part about being Taylor being a gigantic movie star and Lohan not being one."
"She can't really pull of the young, sexy Liz with much believability so the mid-'80s look is awkward squared."
"Liz & Dick" premieres on Sunday, November 25, on Lifetime. Will you tune in?
