Late night viewers love Jimmy Kimmel!
On Tuesday, the comedian's late-night show debuted in its new time slot, killing competitors "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "The Late Show with David Letterman."
"Jimmy Kimmel Live" received a 2.8/8 household viewership versus Letterman's 2.7/7 and Leno's 2.4/6. In August, ABC announced that Kimmel would be airing a 30-minutes earlier after nearly 10 years in the network's midnight spot.
The comedian definitely bring the laughs, so its no surprise his fan base has followed the talk show to its new time.
Kimmel even brought back "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets" for the special debut. Check out the video above to see Selena Gomez, Larry King, Dr. Phil, Jessica Biel, Anderson Cooper, Kirsite Alley, and more read some of their hilariously mean tweets.
