Mindy McCready is Committed
Mega-troubled country star Mindy McCready was entered into a rehab facility last night for substance abuse and mental health counseling, and sources close to the family are all in agreement that Mindy's most recent bender stemmed from the January suicide of her boyfriend, David Wilson.
Mindy's two children were removed by family services yesterday morning, and Mindy herself was transported to the rehab hospital for immediate evaluation.
McCready will serve at least a mandatory twenty-one days in the rehab facility, where programs exist for alcohol abuse and emotional support, but there's always the chance for more time to be added down the road, if necessitated by her treatment plan.
Poor Mindy McCready.
