Vanessa Hudgens may be taking her clothes off in "Spring Breakers," but in real life she was devastated when nude pictures of her hit the internet.
The 24-year-old opens up about the leaked photos, her Disney roots and James Franco in her latest interview with Paper magazine. Hudgens also does her best punk-rocker impression for the spread!
When asked about the nude photographs that surfaced online in 2007, the brunette beauty admits it was one of her career low points.
"That was just a really sh--y situation that sucked," she said. "That was by far the worst moment of my career."
While that may have been one of Vanessa's lowest moments, the actress has had plenty of highs -- she can thank her mom and Disney for that.
As a child the "High School Musical" star was home schooled in her hometown of Anaheim, California, just next door to Disneyland.
And the actresses' mom definitely made use of their season passes ... a daily visit to the park became an after school routine.
Hudgens admits it wasn't very "productive" -- but judging from her breakthrough role alongside ex-beau Zac Efron, it was time well spent.
"In 10,000 hours, they say you can master anything," she reveals. "10,000 hours in Disneyland and you're the queen of Disney."
But she's no longer just a Disney star, Vanessa has three dramatic roles in production that she hopes will legitimize her as a serious actress.
"Spring Breakers" director, Harmony Korine, tells the mag that Hudgens definitely held her own alongside her Oscar-nominated co-star, James Franco.
While they did share a three-way love scene in the flick, Vanessa says she never really got to know Franco.
"I still don't know him," she says. "I have no idea who James Franco is. I know who Alien is. He's that into method acting. He comes on set as his character. In between scenes, he is still his character. When I first saw him, I was speechless because he just completely transformed himself. The way he talked, with that accent... Everything he does is so organic."
