Lady Gaga Thinks Shooting People in Her Videos is High Art and Not Weapon Glorification

Did you guys know that "luxury can propel vanity into dangerous places"? Because apparently it can, and it's a good guess, maybe, that this is why some people decide to fly off the handle and shoot people, because they have all this luxury and vanity and need to propel it to some poor, unfortunate soul that's maybe less luxurious and less vain. This is, it would appear, how Lady Gaga thinks, anyway, because that's what she said about the stuff in her video. 

In the above video, Gaga shoots herself in the reflection of a mirror, and behind the mirror, there's a bevy of male models clutching their sides and falling down, because they've been shot, and oh, here's the video's "disclaimer": 

“The use of violence in this film is a comment on the duality of fame.”

The video's for her new scent, "Fame," and if her video's any indication of what can happen if you're rich and famous and have your own perfume line, then maybe you should just hide under a rock and never be recognized for anything at all in your whole entire life. Ever.
