Love It or Leave It: Chloe Sevigny Looks So Good (for Chloe Sevigny)

Chloe Sevigny doesn't often get fashion right (and my goodness, the very idea of her clothing line sends shivers down my spine), but this ensemble is definitely a welcome distraction from the hot-messiness that we're so accustomed to when it comes to assessing Chloe's normal state of dress. 

Her microbobbed hair and makeup are reasonably flattering, the Lagerfeld-designed cap-sleeve dress (save for the weird violin thing) is actually pretty neat - and the side cutouts are downright cute, too -  but probably the most important part of this whole thing is OH GOD THOSE SHOES. Those shoes, right? Those shoes. 

This is what Chloe wore to a Barney's New York event earlier in the week, and on the whole, she looks really, really great. Now if someone would just teach her what a real smile is, we'd be in the business of conducting some major business, maybe.
