This year's Met Gala theme was PUNK: Chaos to Couture, and many of the stars took the more chaotic look.
From fauxhawks to headpieces, we saw everything on the red carpet. Katy Perry and Sarah Jessica Parker both chose to adorn their heads; pop princess Katy with a crown and fashionista Sarah Jessica with a feathered headpiece.
There were a lot of interesting hairstyles, from Jennifer Morrison's fauxhawk to Miley Cyrus' spikes. Pompadours were popular too, from Jennifer Lopez to Nicole Richie to Anne Hathaway. Nicole and Anne both changed their hair color, too.
Some attendees had fun with makeup. Little Elle Fanning looked like she got into the finger paints, and Kristen Stewart looked like a vampire in her red eyeshadow.
