Stephen Colbert is the man!

On Tuesday, Daft Punk was scheduled to perform on the "Colbert Report," but when the group backed out last minute, Stephen made sure his viewers would still get one awesome performance to this summer's hit song, "Get Lucky"!

With some help from his friends, Hugh Laurie, Jeff Bridges, Bryan Cranston, Jimmy Fallon, Matt Damon, Jon Stewart and the judges of "America's Got Talent," the Comedy Central star threw one epic dance party -- trust us, this will be the best thing you see all day.

Stephen has been enlisting this summer's biggest musicians to perform on the show for his "StePhest Colbechella," and when the electropop group backed out last minute due to MTV contractual obligations -- the host not only put on one awesome performance, but shared one giant spoiler.

"You see, we booked Click and Clack over here about a month ago," Colbert revealed. “Apparently — and this is a deeply guarded secret, so shhh! — Daft Punk are going to make a surprise appearance on the MTV Video Music Awards — spoiler alert. Don’t tell anybody, because fun fact: No one told me until two o' clock yesterday," the host explained on the "Colbert Report."

But the hilarious dance party wasn't the only surprise up Stephen's sleeve, Robin Thicke took Daft Punk's place and performed his summer hit "Blurred Lines."

Like we said, Stephen Colbert is the man. What do you think of his performance? Tell toofab in the comment section below!
