Kate Hudson is keeping it real when it comes to her famous figure!
The blonde beauty graces the November cover of SHAPE magazine where she's opening up about her beauty and fitness secrets.
When it comes to hitting the gym the actress admits that it's more than just feeling good, she wants to look great too!
"For me, beauty and fitness go hand in hand because, like most women, I work out to feel great but also to look great," she tells the mag. "There’s no way a woman gets up to work out at 6:30 a.m. just for the mood boost. She wants to fit into her jeans and look fantastic too."
Kate maintains her svelte figure by counting calories and doing pilates -- and she does NOT believe in crash diets. For her, it's about buckling down and following a strict meal plan when she's trying to shed a few pounds.
Aside from having a rock-hard body, the 34-year-old also has gorgeous skin -- so how does she keep her face looking so fresh?
"I'm actually just a soap-and-water person because I have such sensitive skin. But it's all about sleeping for me. If I'm not rested or if I sleep facedown, I'm screwed. I look like I've aged 10 years and everything drops," she admits in a quote exclusive to toofab.
