2014 MTV Video Music Awards' Nominees Announced

What a year of great music!

The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards nominees were just announced, and it looks like this year's biggest pop, rock and hip-hop stars have all made the cut.

Drake has landed himself in the "Best Hip-Hop" category, while Australian rapper Iggy Azalea's up for multiple awards including "Best Female" and "Best Pop." And newbie Sam Smith, who topped charts this year with his single "Stay With Me," has been nominated for "Best Male" and "MTV Artist to Watch."

It's also been Beyonce's year, and she has the most nominations to prove it! The "Drunk in Love" singer -- who released an entire album of videos on iTunes this year -- is up for awards like "Best Female," "Best Collaboration" and "Best Video With A Social Message."
