Taylor Swift doesn't take herself too seriously!
The pop star posted a picture of a nasty cut on her leg via Instagram over the weekend.
In the photo, the "Blank Space" singer showed off a pretty decent size red scratch on her tanned stems and blamed her cat Meredith (who she named after "Grey's Anatomy's" Meredith Grey) for the injury.
Swift also couldn't help but make a clever joke about reports that she just got her legs insured for $40 million.
"GREAT WORK MEREDITH I WAS JUST TRYING TO LOVE YOU AND NOW YOU OWE ME 40 MILLION DOLLARS," Taylor posted with the candid snap.
"Grey's Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo came to Taylor's rescue, though -- the actress, who plays Meredith on the beloved soap, gave the pop star some excellent medical advice shortly after Taylor shared the pic.
"@TaylorSwift this is awkward because my namesake did this but as your doctor, please keep that scratch clean!," Pompeo posted on Instagram. "Yours truly the real Dr. Grey."
The 25-year-old clearly didn't let the cat scratch ruin her weekend -- Taylor shared a video of her and her friends hilariously singing Faith Hill's "This Kiss," in the car the same day.
