Ryan Gosling finally eats his cereal!
The actor joined Vine on Monday to pay tribute to the creator of the famous "Ryan Gosling Won't Eat His Cereal" meme.
Back in 2013, Scottish filmmaker Ryan McHenry became famous for editing and posting a series of videos of Gosling refusing to eat his cereal. A compilation of his Vines on YouTube has over 1 million views -- which you can see below:
McHenry died on Sunday following a battle with osteosarcoma – so Gosling took to the social networking site to honor the late online star.
In the video, Gosling starts off pouring a bowl of cereal, adding milk, holding his spoon up and taking a huge bite. The “Notebook” star added a sweet message on Twitter along with the video, writing, “My heart goes out to all of Ryan McHenry's family and friends. Feel very lucky to have been apart of his life in some small way.”
“[The bizarre thing is, I've never really shown my face or become a character in front of the camera. All I've done is put a spoon towards a television,” McHenry told The Verge about his online fame before his death.
The two Ryans actually interacted on Twitter just last month, but never met in person.
