Fresh faced beauty!
We may be used to seeing Laverne Cox totally glammed up -- but the actress stripped down on Instagram on Wednesday and revealed her glowing makeup-free face.
"Finally a few days to relax. I feel so privileged to be able to do work that I love and very privileged to be able to take time off occasionally. I take none of it lightly. Always good to have days with no makeup to let my skin breath. #washfacenobase #TransIsBeautiful," she captioned the stunning shot.
In the photo, the "Orange Is The New Black" star wears her hair back as she works a clean look while wearing a cleavage-baring, sheer top.
This isn't the first time the 30-year-old star has taken it all off. Just last month, the Emmy-nominated actress bared all for Allure magazines annual Nudes story and stunned in the spread.
But stripping down for the mag wasn't an easy decision for Laverne, who revealed that she had some reservations about posing nude.
"Going through life you try to cover and hide but it doesn't really work," Cox told the mag. "I said no initially, thought about it, and said no again. But I'm a black transgender woman. I felt this could be really powerful for the communities that I represent."
"Black women are not often told that we're beautiful unless we align with certain standards. Trans women certainly are not told we're beautiful. Seeing a black transgender woman embracing and loving everything about her body might be inspiring for some folks," she continues. "There's a beauty in the things we think are imperfect. It sounds very cliché, but its true."
