From booty shots to nude pregnancy pics, we've seen Kim Kardashian from every angle.
But for her latest spread in VIOLET GREY magazine's The Violet Files, she's finally showing off more than just her voluptuous figure.
Legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath was tasked with transforming the most popular Kardashian into Elizabeth Taylor – specifically, into Elizabeth Taylor as "Cleopatra" in the 1963 film. McGrath says her goal was to draw a parallel between one of the most famous women in pop culture today with the Hollywood icon.
"Elizabeth Taylor's makeup in Cleopatra has been reacted countless times, but for Kim, I wanted to create a version that has never been done before – a futuristic 3D version," McGrath tells the mag. "I wanted to portray a luxurious decadence by using elements of ornate facial jewelry constructed into shapes that pay homage to Egyptian culture, and of course, to the rich exotic character that Taylor played in this role."
"I love Elizabeth," adds Kardashian – who once interviewed the legendary actress for Harper's Bazaar before her death. "I would have done anything – I would have trusted Pat's vision no matter what she wanted – but I was really excited that it was the Cleopatra vibe."
In the photos, Kardashian sports gold wings around her eyes made from wire, Swarovski crystals, wax, glitter and a combination of other items, while the rest of her skin lays bare.
Better than seeing her bare butt again, right?
