"I mean, there's so many bad ones," she admits in a new interview with Allure. "But they're fun. You learn from every experience you have, right?"
Though she seems comfortable with her IMDB credits, Alba may still have a regret or two.
"I wish I found my voice as a person earlier," she continues, "because I felt like I had to just shut up and do what they wanted me to, even though it was against how I really felt."
"I never wanted to play into a stereotype, where its like, Oh, you're just the girl who gets saved by the guy, and she doesn't know how to make decisions, and she gets overwhelmed with all this stuff happening around her," adds Alba, who now refuses roles that degrade women. "Women are freaking resilient."
The 34-year-old mother-of-two and uber-successful businesswoman also opens up about her marriage to Cash Warren.
"Gosh, it wouldn't really be possible without him," Alba tells the mag. "He helped me put together my initial business plan. He was always my biggest cheerleader but never gave me unrealistic expectations and never criticized me so much where I felt defeated. Having someone who genuinely has your back, no matter what, theres nothing like that. It's a real unconditional love. The partner that you choose to go through life with you, that's your chosen family."
