  • Miley Cyrus Blasts Critics Over "Fat" Comments

    No Avatar

I really don't understand why everyone jumped down ticallion's throat over his comments. You may not like how "blunt" he was but the message is still correct. Is this some massive female conspiracy to stop guys from chasing the more attractive ones? Everyone always screams, "it's because of people like you that there are eating disorders". Absolutely not. Women who are in actuality "healthy" in terms of weight are far more attractive to the average guy than those who are not. Jessica Simpson or Miley Cyrus are more attractive to a larger percentage of men when they are thinner. You don't get applauded for not taking care of yourself, putting on weight, and then not caring what people think. You get applauded for taking care of yourself, exercising, eating right and not caring what people think. You wouldn't know who Miley Cyrus or Jessica Simpson are if they looked like this when they were first coming up. And it's not that they look SO terrible. It's just that there are 10,000 other women who just got off the bus in hollywood who look SO amazing and who are just as talented if not more so. They got their shot in the most shallow industry in the world, BECAUSE THEY WERE THIN AND HOT. You can not argue with this point. It's a fact. I wholeheartedly agree that they chose an industry that catapulted them for their looks and then chastised that same shallow industry when it turned on them and called them out for gaining weight. If it wasn't for this exploitive system of taking advantage of young, thin, hot women, then Jessica Simpson would be working at McDonalds right now instead of walking around as a billionaire. Deal with it. You sold your soul to be famous. When you dance with the Devil, you are going to get burned. Get back on the treadmill, or get out of Hollywood.
