first off, the little girl below me needs to chill out! lol.

second, she started working for her career in acting at a very young age (i mean like 7yrs old) and it has been a lot of pressure since deay one. especially to be in multiple entertainment businesses. i would have to say she has handled herself extremely well for everything she is expected of everyday by family, fans, her employeers, and the media. look at britney spears, and now miley cyrus... im sure they tried very hard to conceal their stupidity and flaws from pouring out to the media, obviously not hard enough. Demi is an 18 year-old girl. yes, im sure she "partys" and swears, and has her fair share of make out sessions, but she has kept her personal life and work/entertainment as seperate as possible, and has been successful doing so. being an 18 year old girl, working so hard everyday for everything she has ever wanted... her musical, movie, and TV career, and having her boyfriend(s), friends, and family drama to balence on the side, it becomes a lot to handle. you also have to consider how fast her career sky-rocketed. to become an over night pop sensation takes a lot of time and dedication. She didnt just stand there and snap her fingers.

i understand why people look at celebrities as spoiled brats, ect. but to have a career where you are heavenly involved in the media everyday is one of the hardest jobs. you need to consider all elements. sure, you make massive amounts of money. and you get your picture in magazines, face on tv, and your cds boppin on every 10 year-olds i-pod. she is making a lot of money... but when does she honestly have time to use or spend it? also, keep in mind, she does a lot of donations and benifits towards special causes. id like to see you handle a day in her shoes. even though she failed finally, she has it pretty much mastered. you, my friends, would all fail after the first hour miserably.
