That one statement helped launch Brooke Shields to superstardom and made Calvin Klein the incredibly successful global brand it is today.
Shields was only 15 when she started working for the company and would later go on to star in films, a very popular TV show and even appeared on Broadway. Not too shabby for a former teen model.
