What a night of fashion!
Hollywood's biggest stars hit the red carpet at the 2014 Met Gala on Monday night. Anna Wintour's annual Costume Institute gala is all about making a statement, and there were definitely some stars who nailed their looks ... and more than a few celebs who missed the mark.
Reese Witherspoon channeled her "Legally Blonde" alter-ego Elle Woods in this hot pink Stella McCartney dress that hugged all the right curves. Blake Lively's gorgeous Gucci gown, paired with her hot husband Ryan Reynolds, made for the perfect combination. And Charlize Theron looked effortlessly beautiful this black and white Dior dress.
While these ladies shined on the red carpet, there were a lot more worst dressed stars than best dressed stars at the Gala!
Lupita Nyong'o usually nails it on the red carpet, but this flapper-inspired Prada getup was too over the top. Katie Holmes' Marchesa dress was part Belle from "Beauty and the Beast," and part Old West. Either way, it was all bad! And, Sandra Lee went full on '80s prom for the Met gala in this massive white, fairy godmother-esque ensemble.
